Sydney airport

So I arrive in Sydney and three things are immediately apparant, everything seems really expensive, no-one is smiling and asking how I am and im missing Thailand already. Getting to Australia was something I had looked forward to for 6 months but now I was there I just felt like I should have spent more time in Thailand. Not helped by the fact I was waiting for my next (3rd concurrent) flight to Cairns. Once I boarded the plane and we flew up the East coast my spirits were lifted. What a stunning view. Beautiful coastline but would I see any of this? I hadnt yet decided whether I was going to drive down the East coast at all. I dozed off and as I remember I dreamed of jumping off a boat and down into the other world known as the Great Barrier Reef.
